MY LOVELY CITY GUWAHATI

I  am living in a small town named khoirabari it is 80 km from Guwahati but I have visited many time to  Guwahati from my point of view it is a lovely and wonderful city.when you go upper in Guwahati you can visit more natural place. The medical and educational facility is much better than any other place in Assam. The business is growing higher. Many new mall and company  are started their startup in Guwahati.
LET’S TALK ABOUT –
Guwahati is the largest market (Haat) for betel Nuts( Guwa) in the old days in the bank of Brahmaputra river .Because of betel nut market ,the local people use to know as Guwahati. Guwahati  formerly known as Guwahati in Assamese language  is the largest city of Assam and also the largest metropolitan city of india. The ancient cities of Pragjyotishpur  and Durhaya were the capitals of the ancient state of kamrup. Many ancient Hindu temples like the kamakhya Temple and Umananda Temple are in the city, giving it the name "City of Temples" Dispur, the capital of Assam, is in the circuit city region located within Guwahati and is the seat of the Government of Assam.
Let’s talk about kamakhya temple my favorite place in guwahati is religious place and also u can look many architecture work in this place.the kamakhya temple in is in the hill and so there is fresh air and get natural feeling. Above the city the place is cool and natural. And if u want to do natural and architectural photography then the place is heaven for photographer.

I have visited many times the famous markets of guwahati names are paltan Bazaar, Uzan Bazaar, Pan Bazaar and Fancy Bazar.
Paltan Bazaar is a market of cheap hotels and private vehicles as it is located close to Railway station
Uzan Bazaar has its origin from the uzan (upper) in Assamese language. It is famous market for fresh river fish
Pan Bazaar is basically famous for fabric market and book shop
Fancy Bazaar is a major centre of retail and wholesale commercial market. From every part of Assam small retailer business man came here to by  product in wholesale price.
Guwahati lies between the banks of the Brahmaputra River and the foothills of the Shillong plateau, with LGB International Airport to the west and the town of Narengi to the east. The North Guwahati area to the northern bank of the Brahmaputra, is being gradually incorporated into the city limits. The noted Madan Kamdev is located 30 kilometers from Guwahati. The Guwahati Municipal Corporation (GMC), the city's local government, administers an area of 328 square kilometres (127 sq mi), while the Guwahati Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) is the planning and development body of greater Guwahati Metropolitan Area. Guwahati is the largest city in Northeast India
The Guwahati region hosts diverse wildlife including rare animals such as Asian elephants, pythons, tigers, rhinoceros, gaurs, primate species, and endangered birds.
We are talking about Guwahati than we also can talk about the religion festival and all about it that’s the bihu festival
